Served as lead technical writer for military installation and operation of stationary and rail-based mechanical shooting range equipment, from hand carry to tank-sized devices. These guides were accurate for use on base or in field staged situations.
- Ensured compliance with complex government documentation guidelines.
- Managed all device setup, installation, and operation manuals. Included custom graphics using edited CAD images, edited photographs, or screen shots.
- Interviewed engineers and installers regarding known issues of devices. Created standardized troubleshooting methods for common problems in a flow chart layout.
- Researched and developed an operation manual and a user guide for a new Range Control Software. These described all features, functions, installation, and standard use instructions.
